- Enema Bag or Enema Bucket
- Purified or Spring Water or Filtered Tap Water
- Organic Coconut Oil or Olive Oil
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Stainless Steel or Glass Pot
- Fine Mesh Stainless Strainer
- Thick Towel to Lay on

THE COFFEE CONCENTRATE CAN BE MADE AND STORED IN THE REFIGERATOR FOR 7 DAYS.
TO MAKE:
In a stainless steel or glass pot, bring 1 cup of organic coffee grounds and 1 quart (4 cups) of purified or spring water to a boil for 5 minutes. Then simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Strain into a glass or stainless container using a fine mesh strainer. (I prefer to strain it into a wide mouthed pyrex measuring cup.) Add additional purified or spring water to bring mixture back to 1 quart (4 cups). Store in glass or stainless steel container in the refrigerator.
TO USE:
In a stainless steel or glass pot, heat 1 cup of coffee concentrate with 3 cups of purified or spring water. Be sure not to overheat! If so, allow to cool to body temp before using. This amount is for 1 enema session. Most people start with 1/2 sessions for a few times before using a full session. (1/2 session would be 1/2 cup coffee to 1-1.5 cups of purified or spring water where as a full session is 1 cup of concentrated coffee to 3 cups purified water.) Place a folded thick towel on the bathroom floor or in the bathtub. Place a pillow for your head near the towel.
ENEMA INSTRUCTIONS
Follow your enema bag or bucket instructions for use. Place your DILUTED coffee mixture into your enema bag or enema bucket. Be sure to clamp your hose off first. The bag or bucket should hang or be held up about 18 inches above where you are lying. I use a small step stool for this purpose. Lubricate the tip with coconut or olive oil and I also suggest adding some onto your skin near the tip insertion site. Lie on your right side or on your back and insert the tip slowly into your rectum approximately 3-5 inches. Release the clamp and allow liquid to flow until bag or bucket is empty.
Clamp off and remove tube and either remain on your back with feet elevated or turn onto your right side. Retain the diluted coffee solution for 12-15 minutes. (Never longer than 15 minutes). Don’t worry if you have trouble retaining it for that long. It will get easier the more you do it.
After no more than 15 minutes, head to the toilet and expel the contents. This may take a few minutes. All of it may not come out at one time. No worries. (1/2 session is half of the mixture in one dose – a full session would include all four cups of diluted coffee mixture in one session.)
If you prefer to do a full session (which is recommended) use the 4 cups of diluted coffee solution at one time and instill rectally as directed above. Retain for 12-15 minutes then expel into the toilet. This completes your full session. May repeat this session in 4 hours if desired.
HELPFUL TIPS
The best time to do an enema is shortly after a bowel movement. Try to do this in the morning or early afternoon. Many use the enemas at night and don’t have trouble with sleep. For ease in retaining the coffee enema you may add 1/4 teaspoon celtic sea salt into your warmed enema solution before inserting. If gas is a problem, move around a bit before taking the enema. Raise your hips after coffee is inserted. This will relieve any gas pressure you may have.
If constipation is a problem, you may want to use a warm water enema (purified water) first to expel impacted feces. Urinate before you begin the enema. You may remain lying on your back with hips elevated for comfort.
If cramping occurs take deep breaths in through the nose and exhale slowly through the mouth until cramping passes. Cramping can occur while you are inserting the enema liquid OR it can occur while you are retaining it. Deep breathing will assist in retaining the liquid longer.
It is safe to take a coffee enema up to 6 times daily (this is used for cancer patients in Gerson therapy). You will reap health benefits by taking a daily enema. Some have used it daily for years without problems. There are no known dangers in using coffee enemas on a daily basis. If you do not expel all or most of the diluted coffee mixture, it means you are dehydrated. DRINK MORE WATER. You may also use a mineral supplement daily such as Ionic Minerals or Mineral Essence.
SPECIAL NOTE TO THOSE WITH HISTAMINE INTOLERANCE OR MCAS
I’m recovering from Breast Implant Illness. One of the unfortunate healing layers that arrived after my explant was MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome). MCAS is basically a histamine intolerance issue but the episodes can be stronger than HIT. Food intolerances are common with breast implant illness and even long after your explant. I found that coffee enemas do not agree with me and bring on a histamine reaction. The enemas I choose to do at this time are warm purified water OR purified water with a tablespoon full of hydrated bentonite in the water. Bentonite is a binder and assists in absorbing and pulling out toxic matter. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
