Garlic Salve for Coughs and Colds

Is anyone in your household coming down with a cough or cold? Whip up a batch of this amazing garlic salve and watch the relief arrive!

INGREDIENTS

8 cloves garlic (peeled)

1/3 cup coconut oil (not fractionated)

10 drops Young Living Lavender Oil

Combine ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend for about 3 minutes until it’s perfectly smooth like whipped butter. You may have to scrap down the sides of the blender to get all the garlic completely into the paste. Put the salve into a small mason jar or glass container. Refrigerate so it sets up. (If you need to use it right away it’s ok. But refrigerating will set up the coconut oil into a salve like consistency.)

Rub on chest, back, soles of feet. (Put socks on to help hold the salve in place) Safe for children and adults. Repeat every 2-3 hours until condition improves.

CAUTION: Keep in mind garlic is a natural blood thinner. If medicinal blood thinners are being taken I would remain cautious. Less is more in this case.
