Is it really one way?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the pathway to easy street where our health is concerned.  Especially how we take care of ourselves, or fail to do so.

Maybe you are stuck in a disease process, or a chronic health ailment.  You’ve tried everything, or believe you have tried everything.  At least the “everything” that others believe is everything. 

Often times “easy street” is actually the most challenging path,  because it must be earned.  If you desire to eventually walk on easy street, it’s going to take time, commitment, perseverance, patience, and dedication.  Otherwise you may never achieve the desired outcome.

Eventually walking on easy street may equate to overcoming cancer, or heart disease, or autism.  But your pathway towards ES could also include overcoming chronic migraines, chronic sinusitis, infertility, or an auto immune disease. Quite possibly your goal is to have more children, or even reverse barrenness.  What does it take to arrive there? At the desired destination?  Victory?

You must go in reverse first.  You cannot move forward until you reverse the path that led to disease, or anxiety, or depression, or even financial hardship.  ALL that produced the pathway to sickness and disease and even financial ruin…. must be reversed.   

The day you choose to follow the right path, that leads to true healing, your journey begins.  It will be complete with ups and downs.  Symptoms may ramp up as your body heads into reverse order – but reverse is vitally important because you cannot go full steam ahead until you have dealt with the reasons your health suffered in the first place.

I’d love to engage in discussion.  Especially for those of you that “have” entered into true healing.  What does it take?  How long does it take?  Does it really matter how long it takes?

And for those of you on the fringe.  Thinking about healing the right way.  The trek up the mountain is in fact the best choice, because easy street will never arrive unless you choose to do the hard work that leads to freedom.
