Essiac tea detoxifies the body, attacks cancer cells, and ramps up the immune system with powerful antioxidants.
Canadian nurse, Rene Caisse, treated her patients with an inexpensive, natural tea for fifty years – free of charge − and had the support of many renowned scientists, respected doctors, and cancer survivors. She continued her mission until passing away in 1978. This healing tea is a mixture originally used by the Canadian Ojibwa tribe, this “tea of life” was recreated by Nurse Caisse and administered to her patients starting in the 1920’s. Patients who were told there was no hope by their doctors were able to overcome cancer.
Despite attacks to her reputation, ongoing legal trouble for allegedly treating patients without a license, and being dragged into court countless times, Nurse Caisse never stopped helping her patients. She never went to jail for helping others because she never charged for her tea.
In 1938, she received more than 55,000 signatures on a petition to allow her to continue giving her tea to patients who were told nothing could be done to treat their disease. Essiac tea remains a powerful healer, blood cleanser and cancer fighting brew. It’s also beneficial for other health concerns, including diabetes. Read book Calling of an Angel by Gary L. Glum.
DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Week One – Drink two ounces per day. 1 ounce AM & 1 ounce PM on an empty stomach. Add Essiac Tea into a hot cup of purified water. Let it sit a few minutes and enjoy. Take your first dose in the morning before eating breakfast. It’s best to wait one hour before eating. Do the same in the afternoon when your stomach is empty. An hour before your evening meal would be a great option.
Week Two – Drink 4 ounces per day. 2 ounces AM & 2 ounces PM on an empty stomach. Take first dose in the morning before eating breakfast. It’s best to wait 1 hour before eating. Do the same in the afternoon when your stomach is empty. An hour before your evening meal would be a great option.
Week Three – Drink 6 ounces per day. 3 ounces AM – 3 ounces PM on an empty stomach. Stay on this level well after full healing is attained. I recommend remaining on the tea for a full two years after you receive an all clear.
DO NOT EXCEED TAKING 6 OUNCES OF TEA PER DAY.
You can dilute Essiac with hot or cold water to taste, or take it straight from the bottle. Measure using 1/4 cup (2 ounces) or a shot glass. Adding raw honey, lemon, or cinnamon can improve the flavor. A favorite method: fill a mug halfway with hot water, then add Essiac for a warm, enjoyable tea. Essiac Tea is caffeine free, so it won’t interfere with sleep.
STAY CONSISTENT! Essiac is most effective when taken consistently over time. Like many herbal remedies, its benefits build gradually. Many long term customers have used it for months, years, and even decades.
STAY ACTIVE! Regular movement helps your body function at its best – supporting circulation, detoxification, and nutrient absorption. Even a simple daily walk can make a difference. Or 10 minutes on a mini trampoline.
STORAGE AND HANDLING! Shake well before each use. (Natural sediment will settle at the bottom) Refrigerate after opening (no preservatives are added)
HEATING GUIDELINES! Do not microwave Essiac Tea. Heat water on stove in stainless steel pan and add Essiac afterwards.
WATER QUALITY MATTERS! Use reverse osmosis or distilled water when brewing or diluting. Tap water may contain chemicals and toxins that can affect quality.
I purchase my Essiac Tea from anursestea.com. The herbs are certified organic or ethically wildcrafted. Keep in mind: they do not deliver their brewed tea in the winter months to areas of the country where the product could freeze before arrival. Which cracks the bottles. Many that live in wintery states are making their own tea during this time with the bulk herbs they provide through their brewing kits, which also include the proper supplies for herbology. (Stainless Steel & Glass)
DIY Supplies Needed (If you choose to make your own)
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Stainless Steel Canning pot with lid. Never use aluminum. Another large pot to pour hot liquid into while you strain it. This can be pyrex or stainless steel. Stainless steel fine mesh strainer and stainless spoon. 32 ounce amber glass bottles to store your finished product. (They must be amber as the formula is sensitive to light and will not stay as potent.)
INSTRUCTIONS AND RECIPE: Must be refrigerated in amber glass bottles. If recipe lasts longer than two weeks it must be re-boiled. Boil tea in a stainless steel pot for 10 minutes and re-bottle. It will become thicker with each re-boiling due to the slippery elm. In the initial stages of consumption you most likely will be re-boiling until you reach the 6 ounce – three times a day – dosage. From that point you will finish up each batch within the two week timeline.
Bring One Gallon of Purified Water (Reverse Osmosis or Distilled) to a boil. Mix together in a separate stainless bowl and add:
2 Tablespoons Burdock Root
3 Tablespoons Sheep Sorrell
1 Tablespoon Slipper Elm Bark
1/2 + 1/8 Teaspoon Turkey Rhubarb Root
1 Tablespoon Montana Yew Tips (Added is cancer has been diagnosed. Adds extra healing power)
Stir in the herbs. Replace lid and boil for 10 minutes. Keep a watch over it so it doesn’t boil over. Reduce heat accordingly so lid can be left on. Turn stove off, scrape down sides, mix well and allow pot to sit with lid on for 12 hours. (This is the steeping and extraction process.) It MUST steep for a minimum of 12 hours with the lid snugly on top. After the 12 hours has passed reheat to boiling for 10 minutes. Let cool and begin the straining process using your fine mesh strainer. Strain as many times as you wish. After straining reheat liquid again for 2-3 minutes to kill off any bacteria that may have landed in the liquid while straining. Using a funnel or glass measuring cup add hot liquid into amber glass bottles. Cap, let cool, then refrigerate. This recipe will be good for two weeks. Mark your calendar!
